Commonwealth Games Open Day Part 4

This is the 4th and last part of the Commonwealth Games Open Day where I will take you to see the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre at Albert Park.Already far more than a swimming pool, the Centre's transformation is bringing it in line with the world's best.
The Centre will be a major focus during the Commonwealth Games, hosting swimming, diving, synchronised swimming, table-tennis and squash.
The upgrade includes a new permanently roofed 50m open-air competition pool, a 3000-seat permanent grandstand with capacity for an additional 7000 temporary seating and a 300-space multi-storey car park.
It will also have an extra hydrotherapy pool, extra change rooms and office space.
As with the other venues we can always find entertainers like this human-butterfly monster!
Or this man 'driving' this turtle and a funny looking giraffe that's made of rattan in the back!

So that concludes this tour of the Commonwealth Games Open Day which happened on Sunday but I needed 4 days to post the whole tour! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed putting them all together for you hoping it would maybe help a little bit to entice you to come down to Melbourne for the Commonwealth Games in March next year!
