Dinner @ Tai Pan

My mother will be going back to Singapore tomorrow morning and we thought we take her out to dinner one last time tonight.
We decided on Tai Pan Chinese Restaurant in Doncaster East and being a Tuesday night there isn't really necessary to make a booking to get a table.
I've been here a few times before for Yum Cha so this would be the first time we're here for dinner.
This place specialises in Cantonese and Beijing Cuisines and I hope not to be dissapointed coz I'm really starving now!
So hungry that when the complementary soup came I forgot to take a picture of it until we were half way through it! The soup tasted quite nice; bits of meat and some sort of vegies in it but tasty.
While we were waiting for our dishes we were watching 3 waiters preparing Peking Duck dish for another table, so much trouble for one dish!

Alas! Our dishes arrived and again I forgot to take the picture before we dug half-way into them again! We had steamed barramundi fish, Kau Yok and Lo Han vegetables with rice. I was stuffed when we finished and I give it 2 thumbs up!

bad as hell.....The only really good restaurant I've been to is called "Penang", which is far away from where I'm staying now. I hope I can go there again and take good photos to post in my blog.
