She said that when faced with a situation like that, one must empty the rice into your own bowl and continue eating from the same bowl instead of changing to another bowl. Why? Her logic is that if a man eats from 2 or 3 different bowls of rice then he will be destined to have 2 or 3 families in the future meaning he will keep other women other that his wife! So a man should also eat from the same bowl of rice so he will stay faithful to his wife and his one family! She didn't say anything about the women though but I supposed it applies to both genders. What say you?

3 Bowls of Rice
Have you ever been in a situation when you're having dinner with friends and family and then you wanted to get another bowl of rice and there's readily filled bowls of rice on the table for the taking. Do you put your empty bowl away and just grab another bowl of rice or do you empty the rice onto your empty bowl so you can continue eating from the same bowl?

i'd say another silly superstition/housewives' tale. it doesn't apply to any gender at all. infidelity comes from within the person rather than how they shud eat. this was probably thought out by Terese's grandma or a common belief shared by women back in the days because of their own insecurities & fear.
But I sked fat fat so I never eat two bowls, what more three bowls. No wonder lah hor?
